2 stroke vs 4 stroke dirtbike-Atv?
Ok... Its making me mad on how everyone thinks 2 strokes are better than 4 strokes... 2 stroke this 2 stroke that Ive seen 250 2 strokes get stomped all to fuck by 4 strokes go look on youtube. In person and racing on tar we took 2 modded bikes rmz 450 and kx 250 both with full pipe no other mods. Rmz took it by 5 feet. Top end and bottum. Atvs now. banshee's ?? blow up to much and are now slower than yfz's ive never seen a banshee beat a yfz in my life. On the dirbikes people told me 2 strokes loose because they rip up dirt to much well we raced them on tar and it still lost to a 4 stroke. 4 strokes u got better wheelies Broader power band and they dont sound like a baby trying to take a shit.. Can someone please tell me why people are still trying to defend 2 strokes when there not all that good anymore....Or why they say there so fast when there actually not??? Not trying to be a smart azz but jesus......
Two stroke motors have always been the motor of choice for off-road motorcycles, because of better Performance,lite weight, and easier/cheaper to maintain. they have less moving parts. For the past couple of years major motorcycle manufactures have spent alot of time and money to develop a four stroke motor that is comparable to its predecessor, and they have done a good job. why? because it will be illegal to sell them in many countries do to emissions.
