Differential Axle
When the pinion washer falls into the axle of an 89 Blazer how do I get the Left Axle out?
The c-clip is out but the washer is holding the axle and I can't see how to get the washer out. It is a limited slip differential.
If you have good parts store nearby, go and see if they have a flexible magnet tool. There are a few strengths and sizes of magnet. The floppy ones are about 18 inches long and will slip into the hole and allow you to swish about and pick up you washer.
