Pair Ride
In your opininion, what brand is the warmest pair of winter riding gloves?
mine are fleece, bulky, and dont really keep my hands warm. im looking for a good pair.
I have to agree with the SSG's...they have both warm weather and cold weather (lined) gloves, both of which still provide for a good grip, either on reins or lines. If you have the lined ones and still get cold, you can always add those little break and shake hand./foot warmers, they do help. I like those little hard shell fuzzy box hand warmers that you light the stick of whatever it is, it burns slowly and lasts for hours. Seems like if you can keep your hands dry, you can keep them warm...one year, giving carriage rides during the Christmas season, I got the bright idea of getting some of those gripper, rubber, water proof shop gloves...what could be better, good grip, water proof? Almost air tight...oops ! You sweat so much in them that your hands can freeze, so I tried cotton gloves as liners, then use the rubber ones on the outside as protection from the elements, and it worked, sorta...felt as though I was driving with my elbows instead of my hands, but it did get me trough the tough winter nights giving rides.
